Le Tour is over. Like previous years, I was hooked. My TV has been fixed on VS all month, and I've watched several stages many times.
Contador was unbeatable this year. He was impressive. So was Lance, but he didn't have it in him to challenge Contador. But with his new team - Team Radioshack - next year should be very interesting.

gotta love an after the race montage. that was awesome.
from a British perspective it was a brilliant 3 weeks.
Mark Cavendish winning 6 stages was amazing. He would have taken the green jersey too if he hadn't been disq from stage (I think) 18, which was a bit harsh really. Although he lost it to a dude named Thor, which is an awesome name.
It was all about Bradley Wiggins though, he was inspirational. He is a top track rider, so to slim down (!) after winning 2 golds at the olympics and finsih 4th overal (the highest placed Brit ever) it was a masterful display. there were a few stages in the mountains were he was in there with the big boys and totally looked the part. For me, he made the three weeks absolutly brilliant and provided some edge of the seat action.
I'm really sad it's over.
Cavendish is amazing. I was hoping Farrar could sneak in there for a win, but it wasn't meant to be.
Next year should be a great tour. Lance should be stronger and Contador will be in top form as well. Then throw in Andy Schleck and Wiggins and it should be fun to watch.
