Today, we had to turn in our CT decisions and I declined the offer. I have no idea when my job ends. Life is an adventure.
I know some people may think I'm an idiot for turning down a good job during one of the worst job markets in history, but I don't think this was a mistake. Sometimes you have to go with your gut feeling and hope for the best. I guess time will tell if this was the right move.
Here are a few pics from the Rockman Half Ironman yesterday....

well done for making a tough decision Mike, it can't have been easy.
Agreed. Any company would be better with you working for it, I'm certain of that. I don't see you as having any problems finding another job.
I'm sorry that you were forced to make that decision but I'm glad that you will still be around.
See you soon.
I'll be keeping my eye out if you'd like. Is there anything you'd like to do (aside from 2 chicks at the same time)...sorry watched Office Space last night.
One last comment...you mentioned your gut. Yep, go with it. I did it about 10 years ago and it worked out...then again 4 years ago and it worked out...and my gut is telling me something is coming in the near future as well. Always go with the gut.
my gut is telling me it is nearly lunchtime.
